Okay, so I do not normally blog mini's, but there are exceptions to every rule.  Especially when baby has such an incredible story.

I have had the fortune of photographing many of this families milestones and Thomas is the third boy for them (I have a soft spot for 3 boys obviously).  What they where not expecting is what happened in the delivery room.

Did you know that 1 in 100 babies are born with a knot in the umbilical cord?  This is a stat that they learned upon Thomas's delivery.  A stat that no parent wants to hear.  Of those babies, the vast majority do not make it.  They where told that Thomas is truly a miracle and to take a photo of that cord.  It happens that only 0.04% of babies are born with a knot and survive.  Not only did he survive, but he is perfect.
