My Winnipeg studio is perfect for individual portraits, children, teens, siblings, couples, professional headshots, creative portraits, and updated family portraits. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone or simply want beautiful portraits you’ll love for years, we’ll create images that feel timeless and personal.

What should we wear for our studio portrait session?

Simple always photographs beautifully. I recommend neutral colours, soft textures, and timeless clothing without large logos or busy patterns. Once you’re booked, I’ll send a preparation guide with tips to help everyone look their best.

Where is your studio located?

My photography studio is located in St. Boniface, Winnipeg. It’s a comfortable, private space designed specifically for creating clean, beautifully lit portraits in every season. There is free street parking right out front too.

How long does a studio portrait session take?

Most portrait sessions last between 45 minutes and 1½ hours, depending on the type of session and how many people are being photographed. I never rush the process—we’ll work at a relaxed pace to create a variety of beautiful images.

Can we include more than one outfit?

Absolutely! Most portrait sessions include time for one or two outfit changes, depending on the session length. Different outfits can give your gallery a completely different look while keeping the session relaxed.

Do you help with posing?

Definitely. You don’t need any modelling experience! I’ll guide you through natural posing from start to finish so you know exactly what to do. My goal is to create portraits that feel polished while still looking like you while noticing the little details others often miss.

Are studio portraits only for special occasions?

Not at all. Many clients book simply because it’s been years since they’ve had professional portraits. You don’t need a milestone to celebrate yourself, your children, or your family.

When should I book my portrait session?

I recommend booking a few weeks in advance, especially if you need portraits by a specific date. Most studio sessions are during the day so weekend spots book up faster.

What if my child is shy or doesn’t cooperate?

No worries—I have years of experience working with children of all ages and personalities. We take our time, keep things relaxed, and create an environment where genuine expressions happen naturally. (And yes… we’ll absolutely get those “perfect” smiling portraits too.)
