This little lady is a tough nut to crack.  Shes naturally so funny and bubbly but something about the camera shuts her down.  Over the past 2 years we have tried over and over to capture the real Roslyn.

For her second birthday mom came up with a plan to do a berry smash.  She LOVES berries. 

We took this slow.  We kept the camera down and used items for her to hold.  Took lots of breaks.  Just stayed at her level and gave her the grace to open up when she was ready...AND SHE DID!!!!!

I call this my vindication session.  Pretty sure I was just as happy as her parents :)

Side note:   This is the third smash I have done this year to celebrate a second birthday and they are so much fun.  They can follow directions, verbalize and enjoy the session on a very different level than first birthday.  Highly recommend!
