Aug 2026 project update: After a break, I am quietly reopening requests for my #projectgooddog photo sessions with revised structuring.
In the past I have quietly taken photos for several families who knew their fur baby had only days left with them due to terminal illness or simply advanced age. Bella, Stella, Dakota and Madi to name a few. If you know me, you also know that I have a soft spot for senior dogs. We have adopted Oliver, Jax and Tanner all as seniors. We know and understand this pain far too well. These are not just dog....they are family.
I am proud to share #projectgooddog as I continue to provide photography for families like these. All I ask is that you make a minimum $100 donation to a local rescue. Proof of donation is required before image download is released. My rescue of choice is Manitoba Great Pyrenees Rescue. I will also share your dog's story online as part of my project (with your permission of course). The session will include 3 fully retouched digital files and online gallery. Additional images are available at a cost of $20 per image plus taxes.
Sessions are only available in studio or at Henteleff park (south end Winnipeg).
#Projectgooddog sessions are only open to dogs who are at the end of life stage and subject to my work/personal schedule. I cannot guarantee how many I will be able to do, but I will prioritize prior clients.
- Please be patient and kind with me. My goal is not to make money, I do these out of the kindness in my heart. Any "rules" I have made are to ensure my services are not being used as just a free photoshoot.
"No longer by my side, Forever in my Heart. We will meet at Rainbow Bridge and never be apart".
The name of the project is in honor of my boy Elroy. He was a troubled dog. In his final moments my husband said over and over to him. "you are a good dog...you are a good dog". This I will never forget.

While the focus is on your dog, I welcome a quick family shot at the end or even just with their "human". If you would like more of a family photography session, please reach out to book one. It would not qualify under the #projectgooddog.
I treat these sessions like a "mini". On average they take 15-20 minutes. My prioroty is to get a beautiful full body and head portrait.
I know certain words at the vet trigger all of the feelings. Feel free to reach out and we can decide what is best for your situation. We may wait, we may want to do it sooner.
Short answer is no. Because I do these sessions with no payment on my end, I only offer them in studio or an outdoor location close to me.
At this time, yes.
