I am the first to admit I get stuck in what is comfortable.  I know babies and weddings.  I do not often work with specific studio lighting and I almost never do black and white.  Throw in a splash of "holy crap this scares me to pose an adult" and you have the idea behind this shoot.

Meet Stephanie.  Not only is she one of my 2015 brides, but she has also become a friend of mine.  Her instagram feed @fenner_inhd has daily doses of yoga inspiration.  I have watched her grow over many months of practice and we have been chatting about a shoot like this for ever it seems.  Finally, we made it happen.  Thank you so much to Stephanie for holding some stupidly hard poses forever and laughing along with me. 

I hope to do more shoots like this that push me way out of my comfort zone.  May 2015 bring more growth, fear and change.
